When you access this website, the browser (i.e. the respective Internet access program) used on your end device (e.g. computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) automatically sends information to the server on which our website is stored. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file.

  • Date and time of access,

  • Name and URL of the retrieved file,

This information is technically collected without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically deleted. We process the aforementioned data to ensure a smooth connection setup and convenient use of our website, to evaluate system security and stability and for administrative purposes.

The data processing is therefore based on a legitimate interest on our part (legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR), which follows from the aforementioned purposes of data collection. We do not use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

Further information on the use of cookies and analysis services when visiting and operating our online presence can be found below under points IV and V.

3. Contact on your part

If you contact us (e.g. by email or telephone), your details will be processed by us to handle your contact request and to process it. The processing then takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We store your data electronically and delete it when it is no longer required. A revision of the data storage takes place at least within the framework of legal (and professional) archiving obligations.

The storage of this data, in particular the storage of the bank details, is basically carried out for the duration of legally required periods, limitation periods, retention periods or similar (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c, lit. f GDPR and Art. 17 para. 3 lit. e GDPR).

Note on advertising by e-mail: We may send you e-mail advertising for products and services that are similar to those you have purchased. You can of course object to receiving such e-mails at any time, e.g. by sending an e-mail to info@bege-apartments.de .

  • We have a legitimate interest in the disclosure within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR.

  • There is a legal obligation for the disclosure in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter c GDPR.

  • The disclosure is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you, Art. 6(1) sentence 1(b) GDPR.

IV. Cookies

Cookies may be used on our website. Cookies are small files that your browser or Internet access program automatically creates and that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not contain viruses, Trojans or malware. Information is stored in a cookie that results in each case in connection with the specific end device you are using. By setting a cookie, we do not obtain any direct knowledge of your identity.

The use of cookies on this website serves on the one hand to make it more convenient for you to use. So-called session cookies can be used to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site. On the other hand, we use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness. These cookies are stored on your end device for a certain period of time. If you visit our site again to make use of the services offered, it is automatically recognized that you have already visited us and, for example, which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

Furthermore, cookies can be used to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer (see also the explanations under V.). Cookies enable us to automatically recognize that you have already visited our website when you visit it again. These cookies are also automatically deleted after a defined period of time.

The data processed by cookies is required for the purposes mentioned to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties (legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR).

Prevent cookies from being saved: Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or, for example, a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, completely deactivating cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website. Information on the relevant settings can be found in the documentation for the Internet access software (browser) you are using.

V. Analysis and tracking measures

We want to ensure a needs-based design and the continuous optimization of our website and statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer. These purposes constitute a legitimate interest in the use of analysis and tracking measures (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR).

VI. External resources/services

We may integrate third-party resources and services for the design, implementation and presentation of certain content on our website (this concerns so-called program and code libraries as well as third-party content such as fonts, maps, videos, etc.).

It is technically necessary and/or intended that your IP address (which addresses the access to our website) is forwarded to the server of such a provider. We try to minimize and avoid such access and the use of external resources as much as possible. However, this is not always reasonably possible. The use of such resources and services represents a legitimate interest on our part, namely in the provision of the relevant services and content for the needs- and interest-based operation of this website and the provision of the desired content and information as part of our online presence (legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR).

VII. Rights of data subjects

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  1. In accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, you can request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details.

  2. In accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, you can request the immediate correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us.

  3. In accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, you can request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

  4. In accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, you may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have lodged an objection to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR.

  5. In accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller.

VIII. Right of withdrawal

If you have given your consent for data processing, you can withdraw this consent at any time in accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR. We may then no longer continue the data processing that was based on this consent in the future.

IX. Right of objection

If your personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 letter f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the case of direct marketing, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without you having to specify a particular situation.

If you wish to make use of your rights as a data subject (XIII) and/or your right of revocation and/or objection (IX and X), simply send an email to info@bege-apartments.de. Further contact options can be found above under point 1 of this declaration.

X. Data security

For our website, we use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser (Internet access program). As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption (if your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, 128-bit v3 technology is used). You can recognize that a visit or page view is encrypted by the key or lock symbol in the status bar of your browser (you can also regularly find further information on this in the documentation for the Internet access software you are using).

We also use possible and reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments as far as possible and reasonable.
